Tips for Webmasters

If you’re a webmaster like me - you spend a good amount of time building web sites! I hope you get something of value from my webmaster tips and tricks!

There is an art to picking the right keywords when you create a web site to make sure you actually can get some web traffic.

Researching Keywords

If you don’t already have an account with Google Adwords - get one now so you can use their free Adwords keyword tool * TIP: You can use the free tool without an account BUT you’ll get much more data if you register for the free account. You’ll also be free of entering the captcha thingy to use it! Do it! It’s a great tool you will get a lot of use out of!

Websites need to be social. Consider getting a social bookmarking tool/plugin for your blog such as Shareahlic Sexy Bookmarks

As a webmaster you have a responsibility to create a good looking site but what good is that if no one ever sees it!

Fortunately - it’s pretty easy to get traffic to your site.

One way is by linking your site on pages - such as your Tumblr blogs. That way other tumblers can see it and if they want they can visit the sites to check them out.
