The truth is RANKINGS only matter if the keywords you are ranking for are being searched for and the search engines are sending you traffic.
Being #1 for a keyword that does NOT send you any traffic is a waste of time.
That’s why it’s better to look at stats to see what traffic you really get from keywords. You may be surprised to find out what keywords bring people to your URL’s.

Tumblr just started doing NOFOLLOW on the links for “reblogged this”. That sucks!
They were already doing it on “liked this” but now as of today all the links are showing as nofollow links.
I wonder why they did that. I think that could hurt themselves if they stop passing PageRank among their own blogs. Very little of it leaked outside - so i don;t see how it can help them by going nofollow.
Hmmm… strange.
